Truck Team Member

A Truck Team Member is a friendly, uniformed frontline employee who is responsible for the safe removal of junk. He/She provides exceptional customer service to both our residential and commercial customers. The Truck Team Member is responsible for consistently demonstrating our Quality Focus Areas: Friendly, Uniformed Drivers; Clean and Shiny Trucks; On Time Service; and Upfront Pricing.


  • Perform the safe removal, transportation, and unloading of junk, in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience for all our customers and maintain a respectful, professional, and calm demeanor at all times
  • Transport and dispose of junk at authorized deposit facilities
  • Ensure uniform is maintained and worn in accordance with our guidelines
  • Perform daily truck inspections, including documenting and correcting deficiencies, and light maintenance and cleaning, when applicable
  • Safe operation and maintenance of all equipment
  • Timely call aheads to all customers to ensure on-time arrival for all scheduled leads
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and safe driving practices as outlined by our standards and in accordance with applicable legal requirements
  • Complete assigned routes and assist coworker(s) when required
  • Provide all customers with an accurate estimate
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, including reading and writing, to record estimates and provide invoices
  • Proven ability to work with customers in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including varying hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven decision making skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Physical fitness required. Should be able to perform regular, heavy (up to 70 lbs) lifting and capable of walking long distances, and perform heavier lifts with a coworker
